Technical Communications Manager
Cariden Technologies is looking for a Technical Communications Manager: a self-driven, hands-on engineer with outstanding writing and communication skills who can help our customers to become more effective at using our software. Our products are directed at IP/MPLS network engineering professionals working at service provider and large enterprise networks. Technical knowledge and experience in this area is an absolute requirement. We are looking for someone who can offer a service provider engineer’s perspective.
Responsibilities
- Work with product development, network engineering, and sales engineering teams to develop documentation and collateral requirements
- Develop and manage development of training materials, technical white papers, technical demos, and other technical material that enables customers to understand our software
- Manage one or more technical writers of end-user documentation
- Develop technical articles for placement in journals
- Provide technical support to network engineering and sales engineering as required
- Provide reviews and content, as needed, for technical marketing collateral
Requirements
- Technical IP/MPLS network background with service provider or vendor experience
- Strong technical knowledge in core IP and MPLS technologies including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS TE
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Able to develop technical content and manage others developing technical content
- Strong presentation skills for conferences and seminars
- Ability to work closely with sales and network engineers
- Previous technical training experience a plus
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
