Pre-sales Network Engineers: No. Virginia, Toronto, Beijing, Hong Kong
Cariden Technologies is seeking individuals to provide product and technology consultancy and to lead the technical aspects of sales engagements for Cariden’s products worldwide. This role involves interaction with key technology decision influencers and provides an exciting opportunity to make an impact working for an evolving industry leader, while gaining experience working with leading service providers.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead the technical aspects for sales engagements for Cariden’s products within the specified region
- Analyse customer requirements to then define and drive technical strategies and solutions that address those requirements
- Establish and maintain positive and pro-active technical relationships with new and existing clients
- Provide consultancy on the best use of Cariden’s products
- Work closely with development engineering to ensure Cariden’s products address market requirements
Requirements
- In-depth technical knowledge of (minimum 3 years experience in) service provider IP/MPLS networking
- Strong understanding of IP/MPLS service provider network architectures, technologies, and protocols including OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS-TE, L3 VPN, and L2 VPN
- A consulting-based approach with a demonstrated ability to develop technical solutions that address requirements
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentational communication skills
- Ability to work as a key member in a global team
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude
- Customer-facing experience
- Travel
Preferred Skills
- Pre-sales experience working for a hardware vendor or systems integrator
- Experience with traffic management approaches and tools
