Engineering Lead - Data Intensive Analytics

Cariden Technologies has openings for a number of experienced developers and network engineers to help extend the capabilities of MATE software. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of next-generation network intelligence software. The position is ideal for an engineering lead with significant experience in developing scalable, high-availability, data-intensive applications.


Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering architecture and development effort
• Work with product managers to design the software, including PRDs and functional specs
• Implement significant modules within the product line
• Work with other engineers to break down implementation tasks
• Work with QA to ensure the quality of the product

Requirements

• Experience as a tech lead for a sizable software module
• Java and OOP expertise
• Experience with architecting and development of high-performance, scalable Web applications
• Experience with Java server side technologies
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills

• C++ experience
• Experience with database programming and design
• Client side Web development
• Experience developing GUI using a standard toolkit (especially GWT)
• Experience with developing real-time analytics applications
